Darco Boil Out Compound is a highly alkaline detergent designed for use as a boil out compound in food, meat, fish, and poultry processing operations. A concentrated hot solution of this product will dissolve and remove most stubborn baked/burnt-on food soils.

This product is safe to use on plastic and stainless steel. Do NOT use on painted surfaces, galvanized metal, or soft metals such as aluminum, copper, brass.

Available as a liquid or powder.

PERFORMANCE FEATURES:

DIRECTIONS:

To clean any food equipment:

  • Mix about 1 lbs of powder per 2 gallons of water

    • Or ¼ to ½ kg per 10 litres of water

  • Heat to 80 °C (176 °F) or higher

  • Allow it to maintain contact with baked-on deposits for sufficient time to loosen it

    • About 30 minutes or more depending on the extent of deposits

  • Empty, then rinse and re-rinse thoroughly with potable water

When mixing powder, always add it to water, not the reverse.
