Qualtech Tunnel Washer
Our industrial tunnel washers are specially designed for food & beverage plants that need to efficiently and consistently wash high volumes of small bins, lids, trays, molds, pans, buckets, and other items.
They are capable of washing hundreds of items per hour, all while efficiently reducing chemical usage and wash cycle times. The interface (HMI) enables quick and convenient adjustments to parameters and settings.
Watch a short video about the Qualtech Tunnel Washer
Benefits
Wash hundreds of items each day, with a consistent wash every time
Increase efficiency and save energy
Save money with reduced consumption of chemicals and water, optimized by a PLC
Consistent water usage and detergent dosing allows for easier budgeting
Automated process requires fewer operators/staff than manual washing, and minimizes unpredictability
Increased safety - automated process reduce risk of injury and exposure to chemicals

Tubular Heat Exchanger - Water
Tubular Heat Exchanger - Steam
Coil Heat Exchanger (water, steam, or propane)
Electrical Element
Steam Sparger
Electrical supply:
460V 3PH
575 3PH
Modules Explained
Pre-Wash (optional): removes heaviest residue loads before moving to the Wash section
Wash: cleans items with detergent, allowing for a proper wash cycle
Rinse (optional): removes detergent residue, and serves as containment for spills over to the next section
Final Rinse: removes any remaining detergent residue
Sanitize: applies disinfectant so the washed items are ready to be used again within the next few hours
Dry (optional): adding a blower module speeds up the drying process, increasing efficiency and ensuring a totally automated system and complete wash cycle
Approximate Dimensions
Exact dimensions will vary based on the modules included, the space restrictions at your facility, the items it is designed to wash, and the volume of items. The approximate dimensions below are meant to provide a rough idea of the space needed:
Length (mainly based on modules included)
Shortest length (3 cycle, no dryer): approx. 24’
Longest length (5 cycle + dryer): approx. 48’
Width (at widest point)
Without a drying module: approx. 5’
With a drying module: approx. 7’8”
